lyrics

Walk through trees that tower tall,
Walk by rushes laying small.
Walk inside brown rustic halls.
Green with envy, wooden shoals.

Tentative squirrels, eyes peering, knowing.
In the distance birdsong.
Oaken quarrels, branches leering, overthrowing.
Reaching over, as far as long.

Walk by the lakeside, glistening bright.
Refracting moonlight, blinding night
With ethereal visions or dissipating light.
Standing to attention, like some bucolic knight.

The world remains idyllic, autumnal showers leaving.
The snow begins to gently settle.
Undergrowth worries, life as a cynic, the natural world is seething.
The ore of the world is the jagged brown metal.

And the forest admires,
With sounds of faint choirs.
Inside rages all but
The Earth’s eternal fires.

Separate it from Narcissus,
Cut the cord with ebon scissors.

Veiled in black, of mortal desires,
Hark Heralds sing, with silent lyres.
The cord was cut,
But remains wooden wires.

Walk through trees that tower high,
Just look around. The forest is alive!

Prepare for badly written songs, off key singing and audio clipping the likes of which has never been seen. ... more
